Christmas In The Classic City is not happening this year, but join us on Sundays in the month of December for hot cocoa, practical Christmas messages, worship, and more! Make plans to join us for our Christmas Eve candlelight services Sunday, December 24 at 9:00 am, 11:00 am, or 1:00 pm.
Yes, you really do need a ticket. Our team will be scanning all tickets before you enter the auditorium before the show begins. If you do not have a valid ticket for everyone in your party for the show starting at that time, we will ask you to wait to be seated until we are sure everyone with a valid ticket has had a chance to be seated first.
A PDF of your tickets should have been included at the bottom of the confirmation email you received when you registered for Christmas In The Classic City. Make sure you have that PDF handy before you come to the show and you will be good to go!

The easiest way to return your tickets is to look at the bottom of your confirmation email under the "Order Summary" section and click the "View and Manage your order online" link. That should take you to Eventbrite.com where you can login and cancel your order. If you aren't able to find your confirmation email, this article Eventbrite wrote will lead you through the steps of canceling it online.
If you are looking to return a certain number of tickets because they will go unused, please send an email to [email protected] with your name, email address, order number, and how many tickets you are returning and our team will help complete the process.
You can either print out your tickets or show us the barcode on your phone. Our team will be able to check you in either way! So, whatever is easiest for you will work great for us!
When you arrive on property look for the white tents. Our ticketing team will be stationed there to help check your entire party in. They will issue a show-specific wristband which will allow you participate in all the activities and get to your seat in the auditorium.
If you have reserved childcare tickets, you can check-in at the Preschool entrance before you drop your children off for childcare.
In order to help make the check-in and seating process go as smoothly as possible, we are issuing wristbands to all attendees when they check-in. Each show has a specific color wristband associated with it so that our Guest Experience team will be able to identify who has been checked-in before they enter the auditorium. Once your tickets are checked-in, just show your wristband at the door and you’re good to go!

Outdoor activities will be open 60-minutes before the first show of the day. Doors to our auditorium will open 30-minutes before each showtime. Please allow extra time to arrive on property as we are anticipating larger-than-normal crowds for each showtime. Even if you attend Athens Church regularly, please allow for more time than normal due to the expected crowds. Good rule of thumb: the earlier you leave home, the better!
We will have on-site parking available for all showtimes. Please plan to arrive early to ensure you have enough time to park.

Yes, you can. However, please be aware we are expecting larger-than-normal crowds during all of our showtimes which means parking will be limited for guests who are not attending that showtime.

The show must go on! In all seriousness, the show in the auditorium will begin promptly at its noted start time—rain or shine. All outdoor activities will remain closed until the weather has cleared. While we can’t control the weather, we’re hoping and praying for clear skies all of Christmas in The Classic City! Who knows… there might even be snow!
Christmas In The Classic City is a one-of-a-kind experience filled with all the things you know and love about the Christmas season and more! It will be a 60-minute fun interactive show that is family-friendly with something for everyone to enjoy. From classic Christmas carols to fun sing-along songs and, of course, a few surprises along the way it will be a special memory for your family to share.
Please note, our show does use moving lights, loud music, strobe effects, and special effects. If you or anyone in your party is sensitive to these effects, please ask one of Guest Services volunteers for alternative seating options.
Yes, of course! All of our shows are family-friendly for children and adults of all ages. Be aware, there will be lighting special effects and loud music played throughout the show, so please plan accordingly for all children in attendance.
Doors to the auditorium open 30 minutes before the show starts. Seats are available on first-come, first-served basis. Every attendee must have a ticket before entering and must show their wristband upon reentry. Please arrive early to secure your seats. There is no saving seats.
There is no dress code, so dress comfortably! If you want to coordinate outfits with your family and friends to take pictures with Santa, go for it, we won’t judge.
Yes, we will be capturing all elements of Christmas In The Classic City—indoor, outdoor, and in the auditorium—with professional videographers and photographers for transmission, broadcast, and promotional use. Ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks in attending the event, whether occurring before, during or after the event, and releases venue and its agents from all related claims. Ticket holder grants permission to utilize the holder’s image or likeness in connection with any photograph, video or other recording means for transmission, broadcast or promotional use.
Yes, our entire building is wheelchair accessible. If you have any issues or questions once you arrive on property, just ask one of our Guest Experience volunteers and they will be happy to assist you!
No. Our normal preschool entrance will be “Exit Only” so you are free to park wherever you would like.
Childcare will open at the following times:
Saturday, December 17 at 2:30pm
Sunday, December 18 at 2:30pm
Childcare will be available only during the 3:00 PM showtime. Please plan to pick up your children immediately following the conclusion of the show.
Childcare is available for infants to pre-K only. Each of our shows are fun interactive experiences designed for the whole family.
Yes! We would love for you children to participate before or after the show.
Our Guest Services team will be stationed to check-in your family when you enter the check-in tent. Please make sure to have all your tickets ready to scan. After you receive your show wristbands at check-in, you’ll make your way to our preschool area to check your child into childcare for your showtime.
When you arrive at our preschool area- Waumba Land, you will individually check-in your child at one of the iPad kiosks. You will enter in either your phone number or name and select the child you are checking in.
The kiosk will then print you three tags: your child’s name tag, a parent tag, and a notes tag. After the show, you will use the parent tag to safely pick up your child.
If it's your first time, let one of our Guest Experience volunteers know, and they will gladly help check-in your child.
If you have not attended Athens Church on a Sunday morning before, please take a couple minutes and fill out this form. It will also help speed up the process for checking you in as well!
